It’s just another awesome day in America.  Unemployment is at 1%, and crime is at an all-time low.  However, there’s a catch.  The reason why everything is so tranquil is that for one night of every year, all crime is legal.  Yep, for twelve hours, all emergency services are suspended, and Americans can basically grab their weapons and kill each other.

That’s the plot of the new film called The Purge, which will be in theaters May 31.
