With his eighth inning Grand Slam, Baltimore’s Chris Davis became just the fourth player in MLB history to hit a home run in each of the first four games of the season. Nobody has ever hit five.
When asked about his extraordinary start, Davis is humble. “I don’t feel like I have anything magical. I feel comfortable and I feel like I’m being patient. I’m taking what they give me.”
As of Saturday night, Davis, a career .261 hitter, has knocked in more runs (16) than seventeen entire MLB teams.
