Tonight, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert might have displayed a little premature confidence in his sister’s ability to win the special election in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District. Colbert’s sister, Elizabeth Colbert Busch, a Democrat, is running for congress in a district that routinely elects Republican’s 2-to-1, and is leading a theoretical match-up against a controversy plagued former governor, who had a rough run-off debate tonight against an up and coming conservative star.
But here’s hoping, right Stephen?
