No, this isn’t a movie, this is a true story. The Girl in this story is Ashley Rivera, of Indian River County, Florida.
Rivera and the unnamed ex had been in a bumpy year-long relationship and decided to break up. During the relationship, Rivera had let her ex store some of her items in her storage unit where she kept electronics, clothes and other personal items. They both had keys to her unit.
She found out that her ex-girlfriend had gone to the storage facility and paid the back rent to Rivera’s unit 2 weeks after they broke up, gaining access to the storage and stole some items.
Those missing items being important paperwork and 3 strap on dildos and handcuffs she had purchased prior to the relationship that value at over $300.
In the state of Florida, any property valued over the amount of $300 is considered Grand theft.
The victim expressed her wish to file a theft charge. An investigation is in place.
Hope she gets her property back so she won’t be deprived any longer and get happy again.
