A math teacher in Colombes, France reportedly showed a class of 11-year old students the first film in the famously gruesome horror franchise, Saw.
It is still unclear why teacher Jean-Baptiste Clément thought it was appropriate to show a movie rated for persons 16, 17, or 18+ (depending on the country) to a class of young kids. What also remains unclear is what kind of math lessons they could learn, besides counting graphic deaths.
No wonder kids hate math.
