Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun are bros, and Article 1 of the Bro Code clearly requires that bros must have each other’s backs. However, I’m not sure if it’s in the Bro Code that you have to have your friend’s back if it’s going to cost you $40 Million.
In October of 2011, Braun, the Milwaukee Brewers superstar outfielder, tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone. Braun however, maintained his innocence. When his 50-game suspension was overturned in February of 2012, Rodgers took to Twitter to vocalize his support of his buddy. So it was probably a little embarrassing for Rodgers when Braun admitted to using PED’s and was suspended for the rest of the season. Here’s the thing though, Rodgers’ Twitter support last year included a wager with a fan that we are sure he is regretting right about now…
MLB and cable sports tried to sully the reputation of an innocent man. Picked the wrong guy to mess with. Truth will set u free #exonerated

We hope that Braun remembers how cool his friend was last year, because Rodgers may need a loan. You know who has the most excited friends on the planet right now? Todd Sutton. Time to #ponyup Rodgers, $40 Million is going to buy a lot of beers for Sutton’s bros.
Well, they didn't shake on it.
Rodgers had his fingers crossed.
