The Hollywood Reporter revealed today that the FBI has released files on late singer Whitney Houston, covering 1988-92. Among the items in the file was a stalker who tried to reach Houston through writing seventy love letters. And he didn’t stop there.
His requests grew more desperate as he attended concerts, attempted to give her flowers and wrote more and more letters, which were continually ignored.
A woman claiming to have “sensitive and embarrassing information about the singer’s relationships and personal life” tried to blackmail her. Houston’s father ultimately paid up, after Houston admitted that she had talked to the extortionist about herself.
