Bush 41 Shaves Head For 2-Year-Old Leukemia Patient

Here’s today’s feel-good story.

Former President George H.W. Bush, 89, sported a clean-shaven head in solidarity with a 2-year-old named Patrick, who lost his hair when he started being treated for leukemia.

Patrick is the son of one of President Bush’s Secret Service detail, so there is a close personal connection as well. The Bushes themselves lost a daughter to childhood leukemia when she was 4.

The Bush protection detail has set up a website at PatricksPals.org for donations to help defray the costs of little Patrick’s treatment. Please consider it if you have a little extra to spare.
