Miss Utah Marissa Powell was named “Miss Photogenic” at the Miss USA pageant, but when asked about differences in income between men and women, she bombed it like the RAF over Dresden.
“I think we can relate this back to education, and how we are continuing to try to strive to figure out how to create jobs right now. That is the biggest problem right now. I think, especially the men are … um … seen as the leaders of this, and so we need to see how to … create education better. So that we can solve this problem. Thank you.”
And thank you, Miss Utah, for that spectacularly awful answer. Meanwhile, Miss Connecticut, whatever her name is, won the title after answering a question about a recent Supreme Court decision on taking DNA from criminal suspects.
An informal survey of the Internet shows that bad answers get more Web traffic, so Marissa Powell is the real winner. You haters can go “create education better” if you want. We’re just going to look at Miss Utah in her bikini.
