Former Senior Adviser to President Obama, David Axelrod, said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning that there was no way the President could have known about the IRS selectively targeting conservative groups, because the government is too big to keep up with. He blamed the scandal on “apparently some folks down in the bureaucracy.”
Axelrod also claimed that it was clear that “nobody political was involved in this” because “if anybody political was involved in this, they would say, “Are you kidding me? Are you nuts? What are you doing?”‘
Axerlrod is known to be an effective political spin doctor.
