Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s Death Certificate Released

Last night officials released, but not yet filed, the death certificate of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the terrorist who died after a shootout with police four days after bombs ripped through the crowd at the Boston Marathon. The determination was “gunshot wounds of torso and extremities” as well as “blunt trauma to head and torso.” It also confirmed that he was run over by 19-year-old brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and was dragged by the vehicle during the younger brother’s escape.

Photos of the suspect’s dead body have been swirling around the Internet and it now rests at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Peter Stefan, the owner of the funeral home, told CNN that no gravesite has been determined yet.

The Boston Globe, which viewed the document, said the pronouncement of death was at 1:35 a.m. on April 19th.
