As recently as Wednesday, Boston Bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was at UMass Dartmouth as authorities were desperately sifting through thousands of hours of footage searching for the faces of him and his recently deceased brother.
According to the Boston Globe, “Tsarnaev had passed an apparently normal day at the school Wednesday, according to a UMass official, working out at the gym, then sleeping in his single-unit room at the Pine Dale Hall dorm that night.”
According to a friend who also attends the school, Tsarnaey even attended a party on Wednesday night, and seemed “just relaxed.”
The Wall Street Journal had previously reported that the family of the two suspects has lived in the United States since 2002, and that their father had returned to Russia following treatment for brain cancer. Our own Robert Stacy McCain earlier asked why the older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was not deported following a criminal conviction for domestic violence in 2009.
