So, the all-female Lipstick Bounty Hunters thought they could bring in Daniel Duvall when he decided to stop at a local Arby’s in Huntington Beach, CA. The ambush turned out poorly. Duvall, whose $100,000 bond was revoked, escaped, but with a multitude of injuries, including a permanently blinded right eye. He’s now suing the ladies.
The Press-Telegram based out of Long Beach reported that:
Cathy Kessler, who lives in Orange County, was one of the pink-shirted Lipstick Bounty Hunters who also works for 101 Bail Bonds. She arranged to meet with Duvall at an Arby’s at 7942 Edinger Ave. in Huntington Beach on March 18 to handle some paperwork, the lawsuit alleges.
Kessler, Roni Faciante and a few other women in pink shirts, including one toting a camera, tried to arrest Duvall, the lawsuit alleges.
“Duvall reasonably believed he was under assault and about to be battered by three unidentified, unprofessional and agitated women and a cameraperson, three of whom were wearing bright pink shirts, and two pointing what appeared to Duvall to be handguns at him in a public place where other Arby’s patrons were also placed in immediate and severe danger,” the lawsuit alleges.
The video, which was posted online, shows Duvall yelling and running away as he is shot with rubber balls.
“Despite the `keystone cops’ level of absurdity depicted in the video they created of themselves, the Lipstick defendants uploaded their epic failure to their youtube.com account, defaming Duvall and other innocent people in the process,” the lawsuit alleges.
[Dan] Gilleon [Duvall's attorney] believes the women are angling for a reality television series.
What a flippin train wreck! Those women are a bunch of inept, wannabes, they appear to have no proper training. I know the guy they were after is a criminal but I hope he wins his lawsuit and is awarded enough money to shutter their business.
An absolute joke. Wannabes. They have no idea what the hell they are doing. This guy didn't have an arrest warrant or bench warrant. He simply owed money to a bondsman. Sorry, but you can't physically attack someone under the justification that they owe you money. As a matter of fact, he personally owed nothing to these women. They were hired by the bondsman that he actually owed the money to. The dipstick bounty hunters were payed a whopping $250 by the bondsman for this train wreck. I'm honestly surprised that they haven't been arrested and remanded to jail for felony assault charges. He was permanently blinded in one eye when they shot him in the face at close range with rubber bullets. PATHETIC.
By the way, why are they talking into a camera as if they have an audience? Could it be that they were looking to score some kind of reality show deal? Completely unprofessional and a disgrace to the people who do this job professionally.
Those women are stupid. Why the hell would they wear those stupid shirts and have a pink hummer with logos if they weren't out for attention?
