Priceless. Sarah Palin was introduced, and who walks out out in her stead but Ted Cruz, who informs the still-standing full house, that he’s “in no way cool enough to be Sarah Palin.”

Cruz drove the crowd wild with his statement that Palin drives the main stream media “bat crap crazy”, and that she “shakes up their world view” and she “picks winners.”

Sen. Cruz reminded the crowd that Palin early on supported Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, Pat Toomey and Nikki Haley. With each name he mentioned, the crowd roared with with applause. He also mentioned that in the last election cycle, she also supported Deb Fisher, Jeff Flake and Ted Cruz himself. He graciously added that he “wouldn’t be in the Senate if not for Sarah Palin.”

Finally, Ted Cruz encouraged the crowd to warmly welcome the “fearless, principled, courageous Mama Grizzly.”
