Huffington Post contributor, Pascal Robert, is still facing fallout from his unprompted vulgar tweet sent to conservative commentator, Dana Loesch. Loesch tweeted a link to a PolitiFact article debunking a advertisement placed by the group, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. In her tweet, Loesch quipped, “Oh look, the Cougar Coalition for Gun Control’s latest ad was rated bullshit.”
Robert replied to the tweet, “I know you would look lovely with thigh high stockings and would love to have a brother give to you up the ass. Wouldn’t you?”
Hundreds of Twitter users leaped to Loesch’s defense, disgusted with the vile nature of his unprompted reply. Loesch tweeted appreciation for the support against Robert’s racial misogynistic hate, saying, “I appreciate you all who speak out against these morons. You show other women that if they take heat over free opinion, they have allies.”
On Thursday, August 30, roughly 48 hours after the event, The Ali Akbar Show had on ViralRead’s Editor-in-Chief Robert Stacy McCain to discuss the piece he wrote on TheOtherMcCain.com blog outlining his research on Pascal Robert. Of the Huffington Post contributor, McCain wrote:
Several of Dana’s friends on Twitter misunderstood this, calling Robert a “liberal” or “progressive,” but he is neither: He is a racialist who hates America because he hates white people.
Unplanned, Akbar called Pascal Robert into the show in an attempt to get the motivation behind the vile tweet. Upon introducing Akbar himself, Robert made himself available for a few short minutes. A wild few minutes it would be though.
Akbar is a member of ViralRead’s parent publishing company, Pundit Syndication.
In the impromptu interview, Robert said that his tweet was a “pressure test.” According to him, vulgar tweets like these reveal “[who] is really racist.” Robert alleged that he “tweeted the same thing to her and Ann Coulter and I wanted to see which one would respond.”
Robert concluded that it proved, “Dana Loesch was the one that was really racist, Ann Coulter was not.”
Akbar then disclosed that he, an African-American was a friend of Loesch’s and contended she was not a racist.
Pressing Robert further, Robert said, “I can tell by the way she tweets, that she has racial animosity.”
“It was insanity on display,” Akbar told ViralRead, “You see this type of thing with trolls — it’s not just the Internet, these people are like this in real life too.”‘
ViralRead searched for the identical tweet Robert said he sent Ann Coulter, but there was none. In fact, Robert has been trolling Coulter since at least September 2009. Ironically, he actually contended back in 2009 that Coulter wasn’t a racist, linking in a tweet to a website with a picture of her and comedian Jimmie Walker, an African-American, embracing at the 2007 5th Annual TV Land Awards.
What ViralRead did find was a tweet nearly 20 minutes before his tweet to Loesch, in which he tweets to Coulter saying, “Heard you had a thing for ‘The Brothas’ any truth to that?”
Upon prodding, Robert said that Loesch’s tweets during the Zimmerman trial were examples of her “racial animosity.”
From there the interview only got crazier. Robert attacked journalists, President Obama and used sexually-explicit curse words to suggest people should have sexual relations with the President, calling him a “trojan horse.”
Akbar went on to say to his audience, “This is a rape tweet.”
McCain was muted for the interview, but once taken off mute, after the interview ends with Robert, was in a state of shock.
Listen to the quick interview. It really is worth 6 minutes of your time.
