After much talk and rumors about who would be the perfect Batman to Henry Cavill’s Superman, the wait is finally over.

The new Batman/Bruce Wayne for the still untitled Man of Steel sequel is non other than two time Oscar winner Ben Affleck.

Director Zack Snyder released the news today stating that his Batman will be “An entirely new incarnation of the character.” The same formula worked for “Man of Steel” which has grossed close to $650 million worldwide so there is defintely a sense of excitement and anticipation for the film.

The handsome Ben Affeck and the dashing Henry Cavill fighting crime together or against eachother on the big screen? Sounds great!

Maybe donning the batsuit will help us forget that he was once Daredevil. One can only hope.

The sequel is set to be released July 17, 2015.
