It was, doubtless, with due solemnity that Boston’s Kiss FM cancelled its “Taylor Swift‘s Biggest Fan” contest this week.  After some 39-year-old guy named Charles apparently won, Kiss announced “the integrity of the ‘Taylor Swift’s Biggest Fan’ contest has been compromised” and pulled the plug.

Swift’s camp insists the cancellation wasn’t due to Charles’ advanced age or gender, but because of the strong suspicion that the lovable scamps of 4Chan and Reddit employed a ballot-stuffing bot.

If Swift is looking for revenge, she’s in luck.  XKCD war gamed out a similar situation years ago.
