Baltimore Orioles 3rd baseman Manny Machado is a very strong man. VERY strong. In a game on Sunday versus the New York Yankees, Luis Cruz slapped a hard grounder to Machado at 3rd. The ball bounced off the heel of his glove into foul territory. Machado stayed with it, grabbed it and flipped it sidearm over to 1st from practically the visitors dugout!
The amazing thing is that he made it look so easy. After the internet picked its jaw up off the floor, the inevitable comparisons to that other Orioles defensive whiz of a third baseman, one Brooks Robinson, started to roll in.
Eerie!
