CSN reporter Susannah Collins, who covered the Chicago Blackhawks, has been fired. Collins drew attention when she made a rather unfortunate slip of the tongue about the team live on television, saying they “had a tremendous amount of sex,” rather than success during her report. While Comcast noted that this slip up wasn’t the basis for her firing, the today’s edition of the Chicago Tribune noted that:
[T]he mistake put a spotlight on Collins, and that quickly refocused attention on a series of raunchy YouTube videos uploaded between 2009 and 2010. As co-host of Sports Nutz, Collins pushed the boundaries of sports journalism — and good taste — with sexually explicit reports and potentially offensive racial stereotypes.

The video series remains on YouTube, but has not enjoyed the viral success of her Blackhawks blooper, with most episodes averaging several thousand views each.
