PHOTO: Police Officer Delivers Milk to Watertown Family During Boston Manhunt Lockdown

After a shootout and a car chase in Watertown, Massachusetts, officials issued a “lockdown” order Friday, warning residents to stay inside their homes while police searched for the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. One family with young children were stranded inside their Watertown home and ran out of milk.

An armed and dangerous suspect was at large in their neighborhood and there was no way for them to get to the store. And then a hero saved the day:

I have moments when I love this country so much, I swear that my heart might just burst out of my chest.

I love this place that much.

Complete B.S. Not to sound insensitive, but can anyone say "Photoshop"? Really, in middle of a manhunt intense enough to shut down the entire metro region, and this guy finds the time to bring milk? I mean really... (shouting out the window) "Uh officer, I know you're really busy, but how long do you think this will last? We're out of milk". reply: "ah-hem... ma'am/sir, you get away from the window so you don't get hurt, and I'll be right back with 2 gallons because I don't know how long this will take."

Yep, photoshop. Why would he be STANDING in the yard instead of walking up the walkway or already in the house?

Hero? They forced the family to house-arrest in the first place. That's like breaking someones arm, and then being a hero when you cast it. http://i.imgur.com/90bGO2J.jpg

Yeah, it must be photoshopped because everybody knows that cops aren't human and don't care about people at all. Yeah, everybody hates cops until they really really need one.

BTW Luc - The cops didn't force "house arrest" it was that murderous loser hiding in the boat that caused the police to have to REACT and protect the innocent people in the neighborhood. People wandering around outside while they're trying to catch this guy could have become new victims or hostages.

More like everybody loves cops until they're actually victimized by one. Or 1000.

Tyrants always use the public safety as an excuse.

My caption would be more like "Where's the doughnuts? They said there'd be doughnuts!"
