While the reporters camped outside were presumably checking Facebook or LOLing over Instagram pics, the Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Kate Middleton) pulled a fast one on them and snuck into St. Mary’s Hospital for a late-term pregnancy check-up. Good on you, Kate!

The royal family’s latest addition is set to arrive any day, and preparations are under way on all sides for the birth. The Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s, where the blessed event shall occur, boasts daily fresh flower deliveries, blackout curtains, a recliner, a bed for William should he choose to stay the night, and a wine list (note to self: have next baby at St. Mary’s. Extra note to self: raise 15K to have next baby at St. Mary’s.)

With Andy Murray back in training for the U.S. Open later next month, the U.K. is looking for a new hero. Looks like he/she will be arriving shortly!
