Katherine Rosario of the Heritage Foundation reports that the “Iron “Lady” is getting dissed in D.C.:
A Senate resolution to honor the Lady Thatcher was supposed to pass [Wednesday] night. However, per well placed sources on the Hill, Democrats have a hold on the resolution.
To refuse to honor a woman of such great historical and political significance, who was deeply loyal to the United States, is petty and shameful.
No word on which senators may be responsible for this, let alone why anyone would delay this memorial tribute to such a historic U.S. ally, but Rosario’s report caught the attention of the British Commentator site, and if the sensation-chasing reporters on Fleet Street catch wind of this snub, it’s likely to turn into a trans-Atlantic media firestorm.
