Beyoncé Caught Lip-Syncing National Anthem At Inaugural

Beyoncé performed the National Anthem at yesterday’s inauguration of President Obama to his second term (which does not make him the 45th President by the way, just the 44th for the second time).

It got rave reviews.

It was also fake.

Her spokesperson confirmed to The Times that shortly before her performance Beyoncé decided on relying on the studio version instead of risking singing live at the Capitol.

Special note should be made at the 1:23 mark.  Beyoncé takes her earpiece out, as if it were causing her a problem singing the vocals. Hilarious.

    HIlarious indeed! I’d love to know if Kelly lip synced too? It didn’t appear to be so.
