The Best Animated Short category on Oscar night always seems to puzzle me. Where did these films come from? Who saw them? Did I have to see Wreck it Ralph or Ice Age:Continental Drift to get a glimpse? After the broadcast, I always plan to see all of them, but like many of the best laid plans, they often go astray.

This year, Viral Read will help you be prepared. Below are all of the 2013 Oscar Nominees in full (except for David Silverman’s Simpsons short, which is just in trailer form here.)

If you are going to see just one of these Oscar-nominated shorts, it should definitely be Minkyu Lee’s Adam and Dog, a touching re-telling of the original Bible story, told through the experiences of the first man’s best friend. Although it’s not the favorite to win- Disney has a nominee, and a change in the voting rules this year favors the big studios. But it should win, and could pull off an upset.
