Governor Chris Christie’s first reelection TV ad.
New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie has graciously accepted a Huffington Post invite to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner this year. The big question is, who will he sit with?
Last year, the Governor sat next to the “well endowed” and bombshell ‘Modern Family’ actress, Sofia Vegara.
The Washington Post yesterday, reported that the escort who appeared on tape accusing Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) of paying her for sex, has recanted.
The escort, Nexis de los Santos Santana, 23, said in an affidavit she was hired by lawyer Miguel Galvan to do a taped interview with journalists in mid-October. Galvan explained to her that a false account was needed for a divorce case. De los Santos said she was surreptitiously taped implicating Menendez, Melgen and prominent Dominican lawyer Vinicio Castillo Selmán, Melgen’s cousin, in hiring prostitutes.
“Those are my words and that is me, but it does not reflect the truth,” de los Santos said in her affidavit.
U.S. Senator Bob Menendez has become the talk of the town in recent days.
He recently presided over two high profile hearings; Libya, and Senator John Kerry’s nomination to Secretary of State. In addition, he joined Senators Schumer and McCain in a joint presser to present a plan for immigration reform. And if that weren’t enough, the New Jersey Senator is now scheduled to become the Chairman of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee, replacing Senator Kerry.
