U.S. on Alert for North Korea Missile Threat

North Korea is keeping up the missile scare, the Associated Press reports:

North Korea delivered a fresh round of rhetoric Thursday with claims it had “powerful striking means” on standby, hinting at a missile launch …
[I]n London … foreign ministers from the Group of Eight nations slammed North Korea for “aggressive rhetoric” that they warned would only further isolate the impoverished nation.

The threats from Pyongyang’s communist dictatorship are being taken seriously. U.S. and South Korean military forces are reportedly in a state of alert, and intelligence agencies have identified the likely North Korean launch site, veteran national security reporter Bill Gertz writes at the Washington Free Beacon.
